Nene Leakes Returns To RHOA: "Yes, B--ches, I am Back!" Jan 15th 2016, 14:30, by Kelly Lynch "Pick your faces up off the floor, she's back." Those are the words of a woman glad to be back on her home turf. This Sunday, Nene Leakes returns to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after leaving after season seven to pursue other endeavors. During her time out from RHOA, Leakes has been involved with E!'s Fashion Police, played Mama Morton on Broadway's Chicago, and duked it out with the ladies from The View. "I felt like season seven was really hard.  I felt like there were times when I felt really ganged up on.   "Imagine all of you girls coming at one person at a table," Leakes explained to the co-hosts back in November. "I can handle myself, Whoopi," she said to Goldberg.  "You know me.  But, it's not cool.  It's not fair for everybody to come at you at once, and to make you appear to be something that you're not." Leakes has never closed the door on the franchise, which turned her into a huge star - she reportedly made over $1 million per season. "Housewives have been very good to me.  It's opened up many doors and opportunities for me," Leakes said on the show.  Watch Leakes' return on January 17th's episode at 8pm on Bravo.
