When two people spend several hours a day, seven days a week in each others' arms, they're bound to get close.
And it sounds as though this is exactly what happened with a couple of Dancing With the Stars partners this season.
Even though Mischa Barton may have two left feet, The O.C. alum managed to impress her DWTS partner, Artem Chigvintsev.
The pair were voted off the show after week two, but they are now romantically involved, a source told Entertainment Tonight.
They were spotted on their first date together Wednesday evening at The Little Door, a French restaurant in Los Angeles.
"They've been in touch after the show and care about each other but this is the first proper date," a source told ET.
While they kept it friendly on the show, the couple are now "transitioning into more than friends."
"He is the reason she's looking happier recently," the source added.
"She has become giddy when talking about him and quite smitten with him."
After dinner, the couple made their way to the famed Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, where Barton introduced her new beau to some friends.
"He's pursued her for a while, and she's coming around," the source revealed.
Gotta love the chase.
Barton must've saved all her charm for the hunky dancer, because everyone else on the show reportedly hated working with her.
"Some people are claiming that Mischa is the most self-entitled and rude celebrity that the employees of the show have ever had to work with!" according to a source.
"She does not discriminate who she is rude to either."
