Look, it's time for some #RealTalk with the producers of The View.
And here it is: Why do you even have regular co-hosts at this point?
Is it just to replace them periodically in order to remain somewhat relevant in the news cycle?
Because, at this rate, the game of musical television chairs may be keeping you relevant. But it's also turning your show into a joke.
With the program having cycled through more panelists than Donald Trump cycles through nicknames for political opponents, the latest rumor making the rounds is that Raven-Symone could be on the chopping block.
According to Page Six, the daytime talk show is (once again!) looking to shake things up via a co-hosting change.
And Raven-Symone may be on her way out, partly because producers want her out and partly because she wants to get out.
"They've already been eyeing someone to replace her at the table, and she's aware. She wants to focus on her acting again," an insider tells The New York Post of Symone.
Symone joined the series as a full-time co-host last year.
She currently sits at the table with Joy Behar (who left and then returned), Whoopi Goldberg, Candace Cameron Bure, Michelle Collins and Paula Faris.
Her fight over LGBT rights with Bure was one of the show's most memorable moments in recent memory:
Over the years, others to also co-anchor The View have included Jenny McCarthy, Meredith Vieria, Sherri Shepherd, Star Jones, Rosie Perez, Nicolle Wallace, Lisa Ling, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O'Donnell (twice).
And, of course, Barbara Walters, the long-time reporter who came up with the idea in the first place.
A rep for the show claims everyone is satisfied with Symone, telling Page Six that this chatter is "ridiculous" because "ratings are up" and concluding:
"We are very happy with the team we have. Raven is a great addition to the panel."
But if The View does make another casting change, it's worth noting the replacements we'd recommend:
