Rebeca Seitz Rips ABC For "Softcore Porn" Betrayal Promo During GMA; Blog Post Goes Viral Aug 19th 2013, 11:16, by Free Britney Rebeca Seitz took to her blog to slam ABC for a Betrayal promo airing during Good Morning America, a clip she said was akin to "softcore porn." "[GMA] went to commercial," Seitz blogged. "And then, wham. Confusion. Disbelief. Did that just flash on my TV screen? In front of 8-year-old Andy?!" The Florida mom's Thursday began like any other lazy summer morning as she and her children sleepily ate their breakfast while watching GMA. Then the day took an unexpected turn when the Betrayal trailer came on. Her photo of the upcoming drama's scene in question says it all, really. Seitz was infuriated by this especially given the time in which it aired: "This wasn't primetime. This was a commercial about a primetime show airing while we all enjoy cornflakes and coffee and wish our kiddos a good morning." "My kid saw that ... Not because I took him to a movie inappropriate for his age. Not because I quit parenting and just told him to turn on the TV at 10 pm and watch whatever." The blog post quickly went viral. Seitz was featured on Fox News Radio host Todd Starne's Facebook page, and interviewed by Glenn Beck's The Blaze. "I cannot ever be okay with naked people having sex in the middle of Good Morning America," Seitz said, lamenting the image ABC subjected her to. "Sex is a beautiful exquisite gift between two people who are married." Betrayal Trailer Seitz also countered some of the criticisms she received from people who accused her of advocating censorship, and of over-sheltering her child. She said she's taking a stand against degrading sex, not sex in general, and said it shouldn't be used for ratings and has filed a complaint with the FCC. Speaking with Beck, Seitz said that when she posted a picture of the scene on Facebook, the social network flagged it for indecency and took it down. "Amazing that ABC has lower standards than Facebook," Beck said, praising her for "drawing a line in the sand" and fighting those "exposing children to pornography." We see her point, for sure, but is her reaction a little over the top?
