Guardians of the Galaxy Set Images: First Look at Michael Rooker as Yondu! Aug 23rd 2013, 17:02, by Amanda Denton We got a rare glimpse into the filming of the upcoming Marvel film, Guardians of the Galaxy, the other day and today there is even more.  This time it's Michael Rooker as Yondu along with the film's director, James Gunn. There's been a flurry of Guardians of the Galaxy news lately, with Gregg Henry announcing his involvement plus Bradley Cooper's talks with the studio regarding Rocket Raccoon. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on August 1st of next year.
