THIS is the major casting news of the week: Courtney Stodden is now part of Big Brother UK!
The 18-year old Z-lister was announced as the latest American to join the Channel 5 series last night, entering the home after being introduced in front of a live studio audience.
"I'm looking forward to sharing my Big Brother experience with all my fans as soon as I'm set free," Stodden tells E! News.
Doug Hutchison will NOT be alongside his wife for taping, though other celebrities who will be forced to deal with this plastic surgery-based model include:
Charlotte Crosby, Sophie Anderton, Carol McGriffin, Abz Love, Bruce Jones, Dustin Diamond, Louie Spence, Mario Falcone, Danielle Marr and Lauren Harries.
"Celebrity Big Brother has been after Courtney for two years," her mom says, shooting down talk that she actually replaced Whitney Houston's daughter:
"She didn't take Bobbi's position. The producer really wanted her in fall season of the show, but they changed their minds because they wanted her in the summer for bikini season."
