Mike Tyson: I'm Dying from Alcoholism Aug 24th 2013, 22:31, by Hilton Hater Mike Tyson, a celebrity whose career resume reads like no other - world boxing champion, convicted rapist, ear biter, Hangover star, Tony Awards singer - opened up to reporters at a press conference yesterday. Big, disturbing time. "I wanna change my life, I wanna live a different life now," the 47-year old said. "I wanna live my sober life. I don't wanna die. I'm on the verge of dying, because I'm a vicious alcoholic." Tyson - who has been in rehab on three different occasions -  went on to say he's been living a lie and has been abusing substances for years... but is now six days sober and hopes to remain that way.
