Barbara Walters Says Goodbye: Enjoy The View, Folks May 16th 2014, 17:20, by Hilton Hater Barbara Walters ended an illustrious, 50-year career in journalism today. But not before receiving a visit from pretty much every famous female alive. Oprah, Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, Meredith Viera, Gayle King, Amy Robach, Diane Sawyer, Natalie Morales and Savannah Guthrie were among the celebrity guests who stopped by today's episode of The View. "These are my legacy," said Walters of the journalists. "And I thank all of you." At the end of the broadcast, Walters wondered how one says "goodbye to something like 50 years in television?" joked about Botox, thanked her interview subjects and advised everyone to stop and enjoy the view.
