NeNe Leakes posted a tweet yesterday that some are interpreting as an unofficial announcement of her resignation from the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"Never continue n a job you don't enjoy!" Nene tweeted.
"Follow your passion and success will follow u!"
"I'm not gonna stab you in the back. I'm gonna stab you in the chest."
Could just be some random words of encouragement, but considering that Nene has discussed leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta as recently as last month, fans can't be blamed for seeing the tweet as a sign of Nene's resignation.
RHOA, of course, has been surrounded with controversy ever since the Kenya Moore-Porsha Williams fight on the series' reunion show.
In the wake of that ugly incident, every kind of cast shake-up has been rumored, but given her frustration with her castmates and success outside of the show, NeNe quitting the long-running reality series seems almost inevitable.
In the past, NeNe has competed on Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice in addition to landing a recurring role on Glee.
We just can't get enough of NeNe's wonderful wacky faces.
Needless to say, unlike her RHOA co-stars, she's not entirely reliant upon Bravo for her income.
We'll have to wait for an official word from NeNe or Bravo to know for sure if they've parted ways, but some fans are suggesting that a tweet by Cynthia Bailey posted moments after NeNe's could provide further evidence of a shake-up:
"The happiest people may not have the best of everything, but they make the best of everything," Cynthia tweeted.
Is she celebrating her rival's departure, or gearing up for further verbal smackdowns next season? Only time will tell.
