If Kendall Jenner wants to make it as a model, no one can say success was handed to her. She's being put through the wringer on her way to the top.
Kendall's dropping her last name professionally in an effort to subtly disassociate herself from her famous TV family, but that ship has already sailed.
The 18-year-old was reportedly bullied by her fellow catwalk queens at New York Fashion Week earlier this month, as both the new girl and the "entitled" one.
Whether Kendall Jenner actually thinks she's entitled is debatable. Every quote from her about modeling involves her working hard to be taken seriously.
That would imply self-awareness as well as humility, but the other models she was working alongside were less impressed than McKayla Maroney.
"The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was even there," an insider at NYFW explained."
"They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren't okay with it."

Motivated by the belief, true or not, that the Kardashian and Jenner names, plus Kanye West's connections, are what got Kendall in the door, the models bullied her.
Some of them decided to not only shun, but actively "mess" with the teen, who walked for the Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger shows:
"They started acting so bitchy ... some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall's drinks! Models can be cruel, especially with someone new and entitled."
How does Kendall react when the haters blatantly try to knock her down a peg?
By getting right back up again. If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online (which she'd rather you didn't, ironically), you know how hard she's working.
Not just at posting racy Instagram shots, either. Although she's good at that.
