Whatever you think of the contrived drama you normally see when you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, things got real Sunday.
Five years removed from her first diagnosis with breast cancer, Amber Marchese was told by her doctors that her most recent results were inconclusive.
She should come back in for more testing, she was told.
That's not something anyone ever wants to hear.
We don't actually get to see if Amber is okay. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 9 ended before we found out the test results.
Is she cancer-free? We don't know, but those editors will get you every time.
Regardless, she was extremely shaken up about this, so she is either an incredibly good actress and Bravo has no shame or this is a very scary moment.
She even canceled the trip to Florida. We're going with scary and serious ... at least a lot more so than the rest of the otherwise overhyped installment.
Teresa Aprea's husband, Rino, meanwhile, underwent a colonoscopy.
That says pretty much all we need to say right there, doesn't it?
Oh, and Teresa Giudice spilled to Dina Manzo about Rino and Teresa's divorce, saying it was because he hooked up with her mother, as Victoria Gotti said.
Now that should be the kind of drama fans expect to see when this plays out in the coming weeks. Because Amber and Rino's health woes are not it.
We wish them the best. We just don't need to see a colonoscopy.
