Is Danielle Staub returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey? If a couple of her former co-stars (and enemies) have their way, she just might be.
Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo reportedly surprised host Andy Cohen at Sunday's reunion show taping by saying that they want their old nemesis back.
Whether you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online or on TV or simply are aware it exists, you know she was half of the series' signature moment.
Before she was famous for being sentenced to prison for fraud, Teresa Giudice made a name for herself by flipping over a table over and RAGING at Staub.
Calling her a "prostitution whore" in reference to her dark past, Giudice made her dislike for Danielle pretty clear. But the past is the past, she insists. rumors of her dark past.
At the Sunday reunion taping, Cohen "asked Dina and Teresa, the only remaining original cast members, which housewife they would most like to return."
"Teresa and Dina's answer was shocking," according to the alleged insider, as both women responded that "they would like Danielle back on the show!"
In addition to Teresa's table flipping, Manzo said she left the show at one point because of Staub, having always been at odds with her, but nowadays?
"Dina's feuding with her sister Caroline Manzo and her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, and Teresa is Dina's friend, so she's scared to go against her," the source says.
As a result, "she is supporting her idea to bring Danielle back."
"In addition, Dina knows that Danielle tortured Jacqueline behind the scenes, and if she were to make a return to the show, Danielle could make Jacqueline's life a living hell."
Manzo was furious when Laurita returned to the show recently and desperately wants to ensure she doesn't become important on the show again.
Bringing back Danielle Staub would certainly help wth that, in the sense of creating a major distraction and wreaking havoc on someone she likes even less.
