There's trouble on the set of Fifty Shades of Grey, and we're not talking about the kind of trouble that involves whips and chains.
No, it seems the latest not-so-sexy danger is that the movie might not titillate audiences the way the book did as a result of some serious casting problems.
Sources on set say that a lack of chemistry between stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson has led to some incredibly bland sex scenes.
The actors have been called back to the set for reshoots just four months before the film is scheduled to hit theaters, but some insiders involved with the production reportedly believe it's a case of too little, too late.
"Dakota isn't coming off sexy enough," says one insider. "No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors."
Meanwhile, the man who stepped into the role of Christian Grey after Charlie Hunnam quit the film has reportedly been exceeding expectations.
One of the projects screenwriter's has already said (somewhat hilariously) that she believes Dornan deserves an Oscar for his work on Grey.
So the burden is squarely on Johnson's shoulders, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
"They want to do sequels, so this has to be perfect," says one insider. Nothing to put you in the mood like the threat of ruining a potential billion-dollar film franchise. Hawt!
