Once Upon a Time Casts Iconic Villains, Confirms Return of Maleficent Nov 19th 2014, 19:11, by Hilton Hater The Ice Queen is about to melt away from Once Upon a Time Season 4. It's been known since her debut that Elizabeth Mitchell would not stick around on this ABC drama past the calendar year, but producers have only just now confirmed who will take her place as the lead Once Upon a Time villain. SECOND, Victoria Smurfit will portray Cruella de Vil, though we assume no real dalmatians will be harmed in the process of her role. THIRD, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Merrin Dungey - best known for her role as Francie Calfo on Alias - will come on board as The Little Mermaid's Ursula. The famous character was voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown an episode of Once Upon a Time Season 3. All three of these evil woman will join forces for... purposes unknown. But it's safe to say we're both scared and intrigued to find out.
