The royal baby factory is reportedly closed for business for good following the arrival of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana earlier this month.
Kate Middleton, 33, seems plenty young enough to go for three, or even more, but doctors have reportedly cautioned her against doing so.
The Duchess' medical condition, the severe morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum, is responsible for this medical opinion.
Grueling pregnancies with both Prince George and Princess Charlotte have left her weary and more than willing to throw in the towel, too.
"She was very emotional when she told William that there won't be any new siblings for Prince George or Princess Charlotte," a source says.
"Kate had wanted to have two more so they would have four children just like Queen Elizabeth, but she feels her body just can't take it."
Dutiful husband that he is, William will oblige.
He hates seeing Kate suffer from the morning sickness and knows what a toll two kids have taken on her, and isn't likely to put up a fight.
After all, he already has an heir and a spare, as they say, and with a boy and girl, they are pretty much the perfect little royal family now.
Not to mention, the sooner she stops getting pregnant, the sooner she can make good on her threat to limit royal family access to her kids.
It's easier to pull up the stakes and head out to the country if you're not ransacked with nausea and relegated to bed rest, after all.
Just a matter of logistics, right?
Also, maybe she just misses that old Kate Middleton bikini body as much as we do. As Queen of the Two-Piece, it'd be hard to blame her for that.
