It was alarming enough to her family, friends and fans that the troubled Paris Jackson found love at such a young age with a serious boyfriend.
That was before she was sporting a ring from Chester Castellaw.
He's been dating Paris Jackson for a few months now, and the up-and-coming soccer star boyfriend has been all over her Instagram to boot,
They were seen out together earlier this week and Jackson was flaunting some new bling in addition to their typical PDA, raising red flags.
According to a well-connected Jackson family insider, "Chester is absolutely in love with Paris and I am sure that he would love to marry her."
However, "That ring is a promise ring that he got her."
Phew, right?
Ever since Paris' suicide attempt two summers ago, her famous family members are understandably concerned and protective of her emotions.
It doesn't look like there's anything to be worried about, but they are keeping an eye on the situation while also allowing for her independence.
Another source tells Radar Online, "They are both so young and there is no way that Paris' family would allow an engagement to happen."
"Paris and Jackson are absolutely not engaged."
"The Jacksons do love Chester and respect that he is an adult," however, "Paris is not an adult and they have ultimate say until she is."
It is serious, though, adds the insider: "I am hearing that they both have talked to each other and to their families about their planned future together."
