Not allowing Bishop's attorney, Mr. Lester, to pressure her friends and loved ones, Kalinda met him in person and vowed to visit Bishop in person to plead her case.
Before doing so, however, she surprised Alicia at the bar and these two shared their first scene in years.
It was brief but poignant, as Kalinda said their friendship had pretty much been the best thing ever. But she had to go and they would never see each other again.
"That's too bad," Alicia replied simply.
And then Kalinda really was gone, but not before standing Bishop up and then threatening his attorney with information she found on his boss' hard drive.
If he came after her or her friends, Kalinda said she would release it to the authorities.
She then turned down an offer from an impressed Mr. Lester to go into business, put on her giant sunglasses and walked away... forever.
Speaking of going into business...
... Louis Canning was PEEVED that Diane, Cary and David Lee fired his wife as a paralegal (because they didn't trust her).
This became relevant because Finn stopped by Alicia's to say the sexual tension between them prevented him from being her partner. It just wasn't a viable arrangement.
So just as Alicia was sitting in her apartment, staring at her makeshift office and feeling very alone... there was a knock on her door.
She opened it to see Louis Canning, bent on revenge, post a two-word questions: Wanna partner?
Whoa there! That's what we call a cliffhanger!
