Insiders have confirmed that yet another movie in the aca-amazing Pitch Perfect franchise is in the works, as Pitch Perfect 3 will hit theaters some time in the near-ish future. Kay Cannon will return to write the script, though it's unknown at this time whether or not Elizabeth Banks will return as director. Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson reportedly banked $2 million for Pitch Perfect 2, which has so far earned over $161 million at the domestic box office. It's safe to assume both will return for the third installment... and safe to assume they will receive significant raises. Wilson even dropped a hint last month that Pitch Perfect 3 would be a go and that she would happily be on board. And so will we. Consider us aca-on board for every installment of this entertaining franchise for as long as they are made.
