The Real Housewives of New York City is officially down a Real Housewife.
Following a couple months of rumors and speculation, Heather Thomson has confirmed that she's leaving the franchise that made her (semi) famous.
"When the opportunity came to do this show, I had this list of pros and cons," Thomson tells Us Weekly. "Three years in, the pros list is just gone. They don't exist anymore."
Colleague and good friend Carole Radziwill acknowledges that Thomson "just knew it was time to move on," while producer Andy Cohen is cool with Heather's decision.
"He knows I have a big business that needs my focus,' Thomson explains. "He's proud of me and the job that I did on the show. He graciously complimented my integrity, who I am and who I've always been."
Aside form bring a mother, Thomson will focus on her company (Yummie by Heather Thomson), which she says was nearly impossible to do with the "long shooting" of The Real Housewives.
And while anyone who misses Heather can watch The Real Housewives of New York City online to relive her best and worst moment... Thomson admits there's one aspect to the series that she will not miss.
"The forced drama," she says. "The hurtfulness over someone else and at someone's expense - I don't do that. I'm the exact opposite."
