Tracy Morgan Makes Emotional Speech at 2015 Emmys Sep 21st 2015, 09:40, by Hilton Hater Tracy Morgan practically stole the show at the 2015 Emmy Awards. The actor surprised viewers by coming out to present the award for Best Drama Series (to Game of Thrones), 15 months after being involved in a horrific car accident. It caused brain damage to the star and left him in a coma for eight months. "Last year, Jimmy Kimmel said on stage, 'I'll see you next year,'" Morgan said. "Thanks to my doctors and my beautiful wife, I'm here... standing on my own two feet." Morgan then added a couple jokes, noticeable bringing a tear to Tina Fey in the audience: "Only recently have I started to feel like my self again," he said, which means "a lot of the women gonna get pregnant at the after party." In June of 2014, Morgan was placed in critical condition after the car in which he was a passenger got hit on the highway by a truck.
