In the real world, Apollo Nida reported to prison several months ago. But in Bravo Land, the felonious fraud just began his 8-year sentence last night, and Apollo being Apollo, he did not go quietly.
If you watched The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 14, then you know that Apollo decided - for some reason - to spend his final hours of freaking out about his estranged wife texting some dude named Chocolate.
Now, when this all went down back in September, we learned that Apollo nearly assaulted Phaedra Parks the day before he was scheduled to report to prison, but we didn't know why.
Turns out, it was all about Chocolate.
"Phaedra's having an affair with some guy," Apollo revealed to Peter Thomas. "She's telling the dude, 'I love you,' and, 'You my happy ever after...She calls the dude Chocolate."
The Chocolate situation caused things to take a dark turn, as Apollo decided to terrorize his family one last time before turning himself in to authorities. Class act, or the classiest act?
"Apollo was acting very strange," Phaedra told her assistant. "He was punching holes in the wall...We've almost been in hiding."
And that was before he stalked around the house clutching a power tool for some reason.
Yes, it's important to make the days before their dad goes to prison as traumatic as possible for your kids. Apollo - what a guy!
