Jennifer Capriati Accused of Stalking, Punching Ex-Boyfriend >>Hollywood

Former Grand Slam tennis champion Jennifer Capriati is fighting back against accusations that she got into a fight with her ex-boyfriend Ivan Brannan.
Capriati and Brannan allegedly got into an altercation at the Oxygen Health & Fitness Gym in North Palm Beach, Fla., one that may have turned violent.
Brannan states that the world's former top-ranked player stalked and punched him in the chest with her fist before a yoga instructor called the cops.
According to initial reports, Capriati fled the scene before the police arrived, but there is a warrant out for her arrest. Her camp denies this is true.
A lawyer for Capriati said in a statement:
"There is no arrest warrant for Jennifer Capriati. The case between Ms. Capriati and Mr. Ivan Brannan has not yet been assigned in Palm Beach County and has not been reviewed."
"The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan's favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati's side of the story."
Jennifer Capriati, 36, was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame last July, but has run into occasional personal problems over the years.

Mariano Rivera, who is returning to the mound in 2013 after tearing his ACL while shagging fly balls last year, confirmed at a new conference today that he will call it quits following the upcoming season.

It's finally here. Almost.
Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend, and for Americans beaten down by a long, dark winter, it's a harbinger of spring and a reason for celebration.
It's also inherently confusing for some people.
Fortunately, THG is here to break it down for you and get you through this.
Here's everything you need to know about Daylight Savings Time 2013:
- It begins officially on Sunday, March 10 at 2 a.m.
- Time "springs" forward one hour at that time (see graphic above).
- Set your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed Saturday. Boom.
- Or stay up until 2 a.m., turn the clocks to 3 a.m. and hit the sack. Boom.
- Your iPhone should do this automatically. Your microwave not so much.
- Yes, this means losing an hour of sleep Sunday morning. Not cool.
- Especially if you have kids and their nap schedule is messed up. Weak.
- But you get an extra hour of daylight in the evening now. Sweet.
- The concept of DST dates all the way back to 1895.
- It was recently extended in the U.S. to save energy use.
- In 2013, Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3.
- If you can't figure out how to change the clock in your car, don't worry. Just make a mental (or Post-It) note that it's an hour slow until 11/3.

South Dakota Gun Law: Teachers Allowed to Carry Weapons in Class >>Hollywood

South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard has signed into law a new bill that will allow the state's teachers to carry guns in class, according to reports.
The South Dakota law is considered to be the first of its kind.
So far, about two dozen states have proposed similar bills to arm teachers in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Connecticut.
None of them have been pushed through ... yet.
The law states that "school districts may choose to allow a school employee, hired security officer or volunteer to serve as a 'sentinel' who can carry a firearm."
The law does not require districts to do this.
The governor said he believes he most schools won't utilize the options, but felt it was important to offer them the option as a matter of public safety.
"I think it does provide the same safety precautions that a citizen expects when a law enforcement officer enters onto a premises," he said in an interview.
