Hollywood's most random feud has come to an end.

A few days after telling Vulture he'd rather his son never date Taylor Swift - before sarcastically praising the singer's method of writing hit songs about ex-boyfriends - Michael J. Fox has reached out to the artist.

"Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good," Swift Tweeted last night. "Thank you for having my back."

That was all Taylor had to say on the subject, which is just the latest setback in what has been a rough start for her in 2013.

On Thursday night, Lance Armstrong admitted to performance-enhancing drug use during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

But Betsy Andreu wishes the disgraced cyclist has come even more clean during the much-hyped sit-down.

Andreu was mentioned in the Q&A because she has been on record as saying she overheard Armstrong admit to doping in 1996 while he was in the hospital recovering from cancer treatments.

Armstrong told Winfrey that he recently called Andreu to apologize for slamming her as a crazy liar over the years - but he dodged the question of whether that hospital incident actually took place.

"I thought maybe there is a chance for him to change," Andreu told Anderson Cooper last night. "It was such a big step. Maybe I'm stupid. I was willing to give him a second chance."

Every reference to her in the chat with Winfrey left Andreu "furious" she said because "he could have come clean. He owed it to me."

"He's cherry picking the truth," she said. "If he's willing to go out on a limb and speak so publicly and say he cheated and lied and defrauded the U.S. government, then why not tell the truth about the hospital room. I wonder why he did the interview at all."

Earl Weaver Dies; Hall of Fame Manager was 82 >>Hollywood

Earl Weaver, the legendary ex-manager of the Baltimore Orioles, passed away early this morning on a cruise in the Caribbean. He was 82 years old.

A Hall of Famer, Weaver won 1,480 games and was well-known for both his temper and his penchant for the three-run homer.

He collapsed with his wife, Maryanne, by his side and never regained consciousness, according to The New York Daily News.

Said Orioles owner Peter Angelos in a statement: "Weaver stands alone as the greatest manager in the history of the Orioles organization and one of the greatest in the history of baseball."

Weaver took the team to four World Series and won the 1970 title.

Mark Salling, Star of Glee, Accused of Sexual Battery >>Hollywood

Mark Salling, best known for portraying Noah Puckerman on Glee, has been accused of sexual battery against a woman who claims he forced her to have unprotected sex.

Roxanne Gorzela details in a lawsuit that she started dating the actor in September of 2010. A few months later, the couple was engaged in some hot bedroom action that Gorzela admits was consensual… as long as Salling wore a condom.

Simply put, according to the legal document, Salling refused and went on to ""insert his penis into [her] vagina without a condom."

Later that same month (March 2011), Gorzela says she went to Salling's home to confront him about the incident, only to find him in bed with another woman. When she demanded at that time for proof that he didn't have any STDs, she claims Salling shoved her to the ground.

Manti Te'o Speaks Out, Denies Involvement in Girlfriend Hoax >>Hollywood

Manti Te'o has spoken to a reporter for the first time in days and gone on the record:

He played no role in Lennay Kekua and duping the public into believing he had a girlfriend who died of cancer.

"I wasn't faking it. I wasn't part of this," Te'o told ESPN's Jeremy Schaap last night in a two-and-a-half hour, off-camera interview.

The Notre Dame linebacker and NFL prospect even said he didn't know for total certainty that Kekua was a fabrication until Wednesday night when Ronaiah Tuiasosopo called him and admitted to the hoax.

"Two guys and a girl are responsible for the whole thing," Te'o said. "According to Ronaiah, Ronaiah's one."

Among other topics covered in the interview:

• Te'o admitted to lying to his father about having met Kekua; he never actually did.
• Yes, he did Skype with Kekua, but described the individual on the other end as being in a "black box," unseen.
• Numerous personal meetings were set up and then canceled by Kekua.

Te'o does take responsibility for the story spinning out of control, saying he "kind of tailored" it "to have people think that, 'yeah, he met her before she passed away,' so that people wouldn't think that I was some crazy dude."

Te'o received a call from Lenny on December 6, claiming she had faked her own death to avoid drug dealers. He said he responded with anger and, yes, acknowledged her existence in a couple interviews afterward because he didn't know "what to believe."

"All I knew for sure in my head was that she died on September 12."

Alexandra del Pilar: Actual Ex-Girlfriend of Manti Te'o! >>Hollywood

According to a new report, Alexandra del Pilar dated Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o for a couple months toward the end of last year.

And get this: she actually exists!

TMZ has uncovered evidence, in the form of anonymous quotes; Twitter posts; and, most damning of all, photos, that make it appear as if Te'o struck up a relationship with del Pilar - a 21-year old student at St. Mary's College in Indiana - some time in mid-November.

Why is this significant?

According to the Manti Te'o girlfriend story, Lennay Kekua - who we now know never existed - passed away on September 12.

Therefore, the fact that he reportedly got involved with del Pilar just a few weeks later - and recently split with her - doesn't speak well to the star's credibility, lending credence to the theory that Te'o was in on the giant death hoax.

Earlier today, an insider told ESPN that she was told by Ronaiah Tuiasosopo that he set Te'o up and the athlete played no role in the scheme.

Robert F. Chew Dies; The Wire Star Was 52 >>Hollywood

Robert F. Chew, a Baltimore teacher and actor who portrayed one of TV's most unforgettable characters as Proposition Joe on HBO's The Wire, has died.

He passed away Thursday of apparent heart failure in his sleep at his home in Northeast Baltimore. Chew, who also appeared in Homicide, was 52.

Chew taught and mentored child and young adult actors at Baltimore's Arena Players, a troupe he stayed with as his career blossomed through David Simon.

With Chew's help, Simon, creator of The Wire, enlisted new talent in the form of young actors who played students in the Baltimore City School system.

"Robert was not only an exceptional actor, he was an essential part of the film and theater community in Baltimore," Simon said Friday via email.

"He could have gone to New York or Los Angeles and commanded a lot more work, but he loved the city as his home and chose to remain here working."

"He understood so much about his craft that it was no surprise at all that we would go to him to coach our young actors in season four of The Wire."

"He was the conduit through which they internalized their remarkable performances."

"The Wire cast was an embarrassment of riches and it was easy, I think, for outsiders to overlook some of those who were so essential as supporting players."

Obama Approval Rating at 51 Percent Heading Into Second Term >>Hollywood

President Obama embarks on his second term in the White House next week with a majority of the nation giving him a good performance review, albeit barely.

Fifty-one percent of Americans surveyed January 11-15 approve of how Obama is handling his job, according to CBS News, while 41 percent disapprove.

Fittingly, Obama received 51 percent of the vote in the 2012 presidential election, while Republican challenger Mitt Romney garnered (yes) 47 percent.

Obama's 51 percent approval rating is similar to the one held by former President George W. Bush at the start of his second term, in January 2005.

It is below what former President Bill Clinton (60 percent) and former President Ronald Reagan (62 percent) enjoyed at the start of their second terms.

You know what they say: don't let a ridiculous marketing opportunity about a Heisman Trophy finalist's fake girlfriend go to waste.

The Florence Freedom, an independent minor league baseball team, announced last night that it would hold Manti Te'o Girlfriend Bobblehead Day on May 23, a promotion that will include:

• Empty boxes of bobblehead dolls.
• A kiss cam for fans to smooch their imaginary friends.
• An air guitar contest.

Freedom general manager Josh Anderson said the event is a great way to generate "buzz" for the season, adding of any controversy that might arise:

"I don't know who we'd be offending. It would just be isolated to the guy who made his season based off this story."

According to TheAcorn.com, Leach is accused of shooting a man in the chest on January 9. Few other details, including motive, are available at this time - but authorities say they have come across evidence that connects Leach to the crime.

He was arrested in Agoura Hills, California, while the victim was treated at the hospital and is expected to recover.
