Azealia Banks Slams Perez Hilton with Homophobic Slur, Tells Blogger to Kill Himself >>Hollywood

The Justin Bieber pot photos are not the only scandal making headlines this weekend.

Azealia Banks has created quite the stir on Twitter due to her feud with Perez Hilton, which stems from a post on the blogger's site about a "beef" between Banks and artist Angel Haze.

In response, Banks Tweeted:

"@PerezHilton does your butthole whistle? Like is your butthole so stretched and raggedy the air whistles when you move?"

After Perez shot back with "some of your music is cute, but your attention-seeking ways are pathetic and hurtful. You drag while others choose to uplift," Banks took the rivalry even further, writing:

"omg u should just kill yourself... Like for real. lol what a messy f****t you are."

As you might expect, this word choice resulted in major backlash against Banks, who didn't back down in her initial reply to the firestorm.

"A f****t is not a homosexual male," she Tweeted. "A f****t is any male who acts like a female. There's a BIG difference. If u listen to my music and are not offended by the word n***a.... We're not gonna go here with this f****t s**t... We're just not. Lol."

But Banks finally acquiesced to the criticism, at least somewhat, ending her portion of the back-and-forth for now

Justin Bieber Pot Photos Surface, Singer Promises to "Be Better" >>Hollywood

Photos of Justin Bieber smoking marijuana have surfaced, with the singer acknowledging the incident and making a pledge to fans.

TMZ posted the scandalous Bieber pictures, which were snapped at a party inside a Newport Beach hotel on January 2.

That's the day after a member of the paparazzi was killed in pursuit of Bieber, after claiming to a friend that he saw the artist smoking up while driving.

Insiders tell the site that Bieber's close friend Lil Twist was rolling blunts for all attendees at the event, while the star's security detail was also present.

Following the release of the pictures, Justin hit up Twitter and issued the following statement:

Lance Armstrong Admission to Doping Charges: Will He Do it to Restore Career, Image? >>Hollywood

Lance Armstrong, who has strongly denied the doping charges that led to him being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles in 2012, is now considering an admission.

The New York Times cited anonymous sources and said Armstrong was considering a confession to help restore his athletic career in triathlons and running events.

Armstrong, 41, was been banned for life from cycling and cannot compete in athletic events sanctioned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and World Anti-Doping Agency.

Yet attorney Tim Herman denied that Armstrong has reached out to USADA chief executive Travis Tygart and David Howman, director of the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Herman told The Associated Press he had no knowledge of Armstrong considering a confession and said: "When, and if, Lance has something to say, there won't be any secret about it."

Armstrong, who recovered from testicular cancer that had spread to his lungs and brain, won the Tour de France from 1999-2005. Although he has vehemently denied doping, Armstrong's athletic career crumbled under the weight of a massive report by USADA detailing allegations of drug use by Armstrong and his teammates on his U.S. Postal Service teams.

The report caused Armstrong to lose most of his personal corporate sponsors and he recently stepped down from the board of Livestrong, the cancer-fighting charity he founded in 1997.

Armstrong is facing other legal hurdles.

The U.S. Department of Justice is considering whether to join a federal whistle-blower lawsuit filed by former Armstrong teammate Floyd Landis. A Dallas-based promotions company has also said it wants to recover several million dollars paid to Armstrong in bonuses for winning the

Romney Final Vote Total: 47 Percent! >>Hollywood

Mitt Romney's final vote total in the 2012 presidential election has been tallied, and the Republican challenger received - wait for it - 47 percent of the vote.

Yes, it took this entire time to finalize it (you just didn't hear about it because it wasn't close), and Romney came in almost exactly at the 47 percent figure.

47.2 percent to be exact.

Many will find the number appropriate and ironic, as Romney made waves when a secret video of him talking with donors surfaced late in the campaign season.

In the 47 percent video, he said that segment of the country would never vote for him, because they've become dependent upon government programs.

That Romney final vote is based on the percentage of all presidential votes he garnered in November, and it works out to 47.2 percent of all Americans.

Looks like his calculation was quite wrong, or at least backwards. On the plus side for Romney ... 47.2 percent is more than 59,000,000 people.

Also, if you excluded all third party candidates and looked at only Romney and President Barack Obama, the GOP challenger reached 48 percent.

Gabrielle Giffords Visits Newtown, Connecticut >>Hollywood

Gabrielle Giffords paid an emotional visit this afternoon to Newtown, Connecticut, as the former Congressman tragically has something in common with this scarred area.

Giffords, of course, was shot in the head two years ago outside Tucson in an incident that claimed five people.

The brave politician was accompanied by husband Mark Kelly and reportedly met first selectman Pat Llodra, Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.

"Our horrible event of Dec. 14 has some of those same tragic elements as experienced in the Tucson event that so harmed Ms. Giffords and took the lives of innocent citizens," Llodra said in a statement. "I believe that our community will see Ms. Giffords as an ally in the efforts to draw attention to gun control legislation."

This topic is a hot debate in Washington these days, as well as in Hollywood, where a celebrity-filled PSA was slammed in a recent parody.

Rihanna and Chris Brown looked happier than ever celebrating Christmas Day together at the Lakers game, then New Year's Day snuggled up in bed.

Buckwild Premiere: West Virginia Residents Not Wild About MTV Reality Show >>Hollywood

Many West Virginia residents are not fans of Buckwild, MTV's new reality show - and replacement for the retiring Jersey Shore - which premiered last night.

Set in Sissonville, W.V., the network's latest "authentic comedic series" follows the antics of nine twenty-something cast members who are ... a little bit country.

Punches are thrown and words are exchanged. Turmoil brews among the roommates.

MTV teases that the show follows "an outrageous group of childhood friends from the rural foothills of West Virginia who love to dodge grown-up responsibilities."

Sound familiar? Only in the backwoods and not the Garden State coastline?

As we saw with New Jersey residents upset at the portrayal of their homeland by Snooki & Co., some West Virginians are angry about it feeding "redneck" stereotypes.

Samantha Markos, a nearby waitress, said if MTV filmed a "real" show about the state, "You would find a lot of hardworking people that provide for their families."

Melissa Whitman, who lived across the street from where the Buckwild gang resided during shooting last year, witnessed more than she probably wanted to see.

Especially as arguments and even some nasty fights broke out.

"I watched producers actually talk to a lady and tell her exactly how he wanted her to come off on film," she said. "I guess they thought we were all uneducated."

Danny Jones, mayor of Charleston, W.V., added, "You can find all kinds of people that live here and they're not people that are going to be portrayed in Buckwild."

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) also criticized the program.

During the premiere, Cara, Katie and Anna moved in together in an attempt to trade country life for city life, but things quickly took a turn for the worse.

Neighbors frequently called the police over noise violations, but the girls, with the help of Southern belle Shae, decided to throw a summer bash.

This resulted in the first fight of the season, involving Anna.

"I've known Anna since I was 4 years old. I know she has a horrible temper. And watching the footage back, that fight, I was surprised," Shae recalled.

"I was impressed because she usually snaps like that. I think she handled herself well. She was pushed to her limits and was just going to snap at anyone."

"If anyone gets in her face she's going to snap at them."

Shain added, "I didn't want to be around, I'm going the other way when she gets mad. I'm tucking my tail and running like a little puppy dog."

Sadly for the girls, the party ended ... in eviction.

Jacob Cox-Brown is not smart.

The Oregon teen was jailed following the dumbest Facebook gaffe of all time - and that's saying something, as 95 percent of all Facebook posts could be considered dumb.

His blunder? Bragging about driving drunk AND committing a hit-and run.

"Drivin drunk ... classsic ;) but to whoever's vehicle i hit i am sorry. :P" was the early-morning post that quickly led to his arrest at home in Astoria, Oregon.

Upon reading Jacob Cox-Brown's post, two of the his Facebook friends contacted police; it became vital information in an ongoing investigation - go figure!

The previous night, two officers responded to an incident in which a white Scion and an adjacent vehicle were damaged in their parking spots.

After collecting pieces of a damaged taillight and bumper, police were informed about the Facebook post and headed over to the home of Cox-Brown.

They arrested him on two counts of failing to perform the duties of a driver. No DUI charge was filed as nine hours had passed and he was not in the car.

"Astoria Police have an active social media presence," a spokesman said.

"It was a private Facebook message to one of our officers that got this case moving, though. When you post, you have to figure that it is not going to stay private long."
