Now, a rundown of the week that was at The Hollywood Gossip: Actor and all-around good guy Michael Clarke Duncan died at age 54. The iPhone 5 release date was totally announced! For next week! Amy Poehler and Will Arnett announced their separation. The world's first Snooki baby photo was released!   Chris Brown, Rihanna Kiss at VMAs It was probably nothing, but when Rihanna and Chris Brown kiss ... ... and she apparently calls Drake and Lil Wayne a$$holes ... ... the story dominates the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Even when a Breaking Dawn Part 2 clip is played (below).   Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Clip Kristen Stewart made her first post-scandal appearance in public at TIFF. Prince Harry naked party girl Carrie Reichert spoke about their soiree. Martin Kristen was revealed to be protecting, and doing, Heidi Klum. Seal was not happy.   Frank Ocean - "Thinkin' Bout You" (Live)   Frank Ocean performed before his biggest audience yet (above). Drew Peterson was convicted of murdering his third wife. Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are still going strong. The Jersey Shore Season 6 trailer was released ...   Jersey Shore Season 6 Trailer Justin Bieber held a gun in some photos. People were confused. Evelyn Lozada says she will NOT reconcile with Chad Johnson. June Shannon is unfazed by Here comes Honey Boo Boo Haters. Check out these new, adorable Blue Ivy Carter photos! OMG! Poor Andre Parker of Kent State (see football highlight below).   Andre Parker Recovers Fumble For Kent State, Runs Wrong Way Nicki Minaj supports Mitt Romney, and rapped about it in a new song. Miley Cyrus Covers "Lilac Wine," Debuts Album Promo Pics Sep 8th 2012, 12:43 We interrupt the latest Miley Cyrus hair hullabaloo - OMG, she looks just like Pink, people! - to give fans an update regarding this singer's music career. First, the artist has updated her official website to include a wealth of promotional photos in honor of her upcoming studio album, which is expected to drop in early 2013. An example: Next, Cyrus has also released a cover of James Shelton‘s 1950s track “Lilac Wine” as part of the Backyard Sessions, which took place earlier this summer when the new blonde brought her band together to perform some of her favorite singles. Stand Up to Cancer: Taylor Swift Debuts New Song Sep 8th 2012, 11:22 Celebrities from around the world and around every industry came together last night for Stand Up to Cancer, a telethon on every major network that was dedicated to raising money to combat this terrible disease. Among the highlights, Taylor Swift debuted the track "Ronan," a single she wrote with Maya Thompson, whose 3-year-old son Ronan died of neuroblastoma last year. Watch the beautiful acoustic performance now:   Taylor Swift - "Ronan" Elsewhere: Children diagnosed with cancer spoke on their illness, including three-year old Justin Miller who said: "I don't really think about me passing away. But if I do, I'm taking my Legos with me." Alicia Keys, Coldplay and Tim McGraw all performed. Katie Couric, who lost her husband to colon cancer, took a swipe at Chelsea Handler while espousing preventative screening and colon health and talking about a cleanse that "comes in vanilla, strawberry... I think Chelsea Handler even has one that's vodka-flavored. It is not the tastiest beverage in the world, but it is a small price to pay for potentially saving your own life." Did Rihanna Call Drake & Lil Wayne A$$holes at VMAs?! Sep 7th 2012, 21:48 This is an interesting footnote to the kiss between Rihanna and Chris Brown at last night's MTV Video Music Awards ... she's apparently not a big Drake fan. In the video below - taken seconds after Drake and Lil' Wayne and crew went to go claim their award for Best Hip-Hop Video - the camera zooms in on Rih. She appears to be mouthing "I hate those a$$holes."   Rihanna Calls Lil Wayne & Drake Assholes at VMAs Sitting just a few seats down from Drake, Weezy and Nicki Minaj, Rihanna also refused to clap for the rapper when his name was announced Thursday. Her (apparent) reaction is a bit of a surprise, since she and Drizzy were tight at one point, and yet not surprising, given that Chris Brown is the love of her life. Or so Rihanna told Oprah, fighting back tears. Chris also sustained a nice gash on his face during the infamous NYC club brawl with Drake's crew this year. That fight allegedly broke out over none other than Rihanna, who both are clearly obsessed with ... but who Drake disses hardcore in his video with 2 Chainz. The long and short of it? Point, Chris Brown. Maybe. Rihanna and Chris: More than friends?

On Good Morning America today, The Bachelorette couple put on a united front ... which is probably just their actual front. They're totes in love. "It's crazy," Jef said of reports that Emily Maynard was sexting another man. "It’s just tabloid stuff ... rumors written about us and it's not true." "Emily and I are so happy. We're great, we’re in love and we’re happy."   Emily Maynard, Jef Holm Good Morning America Interview The rumors started, and were fueled a second time when Jef Holm's brother confirmed he leaked the story, and swore it was 100 percent true. This left the People Water company CEO thoroughly baffled. "I don’t know if he even knows why he did that," he says of the cheating allegations, which he denied again. "But I love my family and I love my brother." "I support him and I know he supports us as a couple." Adrienne Maloof Accused of Violence Against Paul Nassif Sep 7th 2012, 20:58 Yup. It's getting very ugly between Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif. In court today to determine custody of their three kids, the soon-to-be-divorced spouses went at it via their attorneys, with the most damning allegations being leveled against The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Witnesses tell TMZ that Nassif's attorney argued in front of a judge that Maloof has referred to her husband as "stupid, dumb and an idiot" in the presence of their kids. Moreover, in a declaration filed by Nassif's legal team, the couple's head of security says he saw Adrienne both bite and scratch her husband in the back of their car last year. In another odd incident, Maloof is accused of taking a gun out of Paul's briefcase while he slept and photographing it. In response to these charges, a source defends Maloof to TMZ and says: "All Adrienne has ever done is protect herself and Paul has been aggressive and violent numerous times. He is 7 inches taller and weighs 100 pounds more." Nassif is seeking more time with his sons and a judge will reportedly rule on whether he'll receive it during a full hearing on a later date.
