Planes Collide Above Arizona, 4 People Killed >>Hollywood

Very sad news yesterday out of Arizona:

Two small planes collides and then crashed down in the desert north of Phoenix, killing all four people aboard, according to local officials.

The tragedy took place around 10 a.m. and involved a pair of single-engine planes with two people inside each; one was registered to Bird Acquisition LLC, which does business as TransPac Aviation Academy.

It's a school for commercial pilots and the company confirmed that the deceased were instructors.

Reasons for the collision remain unknown.

Mookie Blaylock in Serious Condition Following Car Crash >>Hollywood

Mookie Blaylock is in serious condition following a terrible car accident yesterday in Atlanta - but that's actually an upgrade for the ex-NBA point guard.

Blaylock was involved in a head-on collision that left a woman dead, as his Cadillac Escalade reportedly crossed over the median and into oncoming driving.

The reason why is unknown at this time - though a family member tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Mookie has a history of seizures - but investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in.

The accident took place around 1 p.m.

Blaylock was transported to Atlanta Medical Center and placed on life support Friday afternoon.

Joran van der Sloot to Marry in Prison >>Hollywood

To each her own... we suppose.

Joran van der Sloot - the convicted killer who is the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway - will get married while serving his 28 years in a Peruvian prison.

The convict's attorney confirmed the engagement news to HLN, though the identity of van der Sloot's fiancee is unknown at this time.

But the couple met while she was visiting another inmate and they hope to be wed within two weeks.

In January of last year, Van der Sloot pleaded guilty to the murder of Stephany Flores, whose corpse was discovered in a Lima hotel room registered in the Dutchman's name 18 months earlier.

He was also arrested twice in Aruba in connection with Holloway's disappearance, but never charged.
