Rona Newton-John, the older sister of actress Olivia Newton-John, passed away on May 24, just a month after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was 70 years old.
"She was surrounded by the love of her four children-Fiona, Brett, Tottie and Emerson and her wonderful friends," the actress wrote on her Facebook page. "I will miss her forever-my beautiful, smart, talented, funny, brave sister Rona."
The former Grease star overcame a cancer diagnosis herself 20 years ago.
Rona, meanwhile, was married to actor Jeff Conaway from 1980 to 1985 and had been planning to release a memoir this summer.
