Lindsay Lohan and lawyer Mark Heller are still trying to hash out a plea deal in her lying-to-cops case ... and she's still adamant that she doesn't need rehab.
Los Angeles City Attorney Terry White has told Lindsay's lawyer he would be willing to meet with her in person before the trial is set to begin on March 18.
Both sides are working towards a plea deal in the case, but as of right now, the possibility still exists that any deal could include her going to rehab.
A strong possibility Lohan has rejected so far.
Lindsay Lohan strongly feels that if she is able to talk to the prosecutor he will be able to see that she doesn't need to enter a treatment facility.
Of course she does.
Heller is working hard to hash out an attractive plea deal that involves no jail time and no compulsory rehab, which Lohan is adamantly opposed to.
Not sure what leverage she has, given that her former assistant, Gavin Doyle, and others are ready to testify that she did in fact like to the police.
There's also the fact that even if she's acquitted, she could still go to jail for up to 245 days for violating probation in her past necklace theft case.
Should she go to jail?
