As Brown remains in a medically induced coma since being found face down in her bathtub almost three weeks ago, Gordon has come under scrutiny.
He is the subject of a criminal investigation, as his tumultuous relationship with Bobbi Kristina has piqued police interest, and is at odds with her family.
Whatever happened between them, and whatever their relationship status actually is, he is proudly showing off his tattoo tribute to the ailing 21-year-old.
The shot posted to Facebook shows Gordon in a tattoo parlor chair, proudly showing off his left forearm freshly marked with the words "Bobbi Kristina."
Nothing more needs to be said at this stage, really.
Brown's self-proclaimed "husband" (her father, Bobby Brown, insists Bobbi Kristina is not married and never was) didn't include a caption with the image.
Nick and Bobbi Kristina previously got matching "WH" tattoos in honor of her late mother, Whitney Houston, on would have been her 49th birthday.
The music legend died after being found under eerily similar circumstances to Bobbi Kristina, drowning in a hotel bathtub just over three years ago.
Gordon's tattoo declaration comes at a tumultuous time in which his relationship with Brown and Houston family members is more hostile than ever.
He's reportedly been banned from visiting Bobbi's hospital beside, and has a restraining order in place against him thanks to Brown's aunt Pat Houston.
Reports continue to surface that Bobbi Kristina may be taken off life support soon, although her father remains understandably reluctant to let her go.
Despite the ongoing drama, Nick Gordon released a statement insisting his "only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina" and being reunited with her.
Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon were married, but reportedly estranged at the time of her tragic hospitalization. We hope she is able to beat the odds and recover.
