The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 14, entitled "Hello Mr. Chocolate," featured a stunning confrontation between Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks.
Kenya assures Claudia that she and Cynthia have her back, as strong women should. When was the last time Kenya had anyone's back, legitimately?
Just curious. In any case, when we catch up with Apollo Nida, he's due to report to prison within 24 hours ... and is convinced Phaedra is cheating on him.
He's been through her phone, and discovered allegedly incriminating texts between his estranged wife and the alleged paramour in question, "Chocolate."
Furthermore, Apollo is livid that Phaedra has taken the kids and left the house, and Peter warns his pal to take a beat and have a few drinks to calm down.
After Peter tells Cynthia the latest dirt, she's simply not believing it, but when he tells her he saw the alleged texts for himself, well, she's less certain.
Meanwhile, Kenya is working on her pilot with partner Brandon, after Roger Bobb bailed, and is at least going through the motions of making the thing.
Sorry. But seriously, we give this pilot absolutely no chance of ever making it to air, and wonder how she even got this far with an obvious vanity project.

Speaking of Porsha, there is major tension between her and Claudia, who gets their boss, Rickey Smiley, to mediate and they agree to end their beef.
For now. And speaking of awkward tension, Kandi and Todd are having marital woes early and often lately. Mama Joyce must be knowingly nodding.
At last, the fireworks are about to begin. Phaedra returns home believing that her criminal husband has reported to prison, and has all the locks changed.
The next thing we see is Apollo Nida on the run, arriving home in the middle of all this for reasons unknown, and getting HEATED that he's locked out.
Wondering what he's even doing there since he's due to check into prison in Kentucky, Phaedra calls Apollo's friend, Bun, to come retrieve his ass STAT.
Apollo leaves but returns shortly thereafter, entering the house and grabbing a power drill, demanding to know if he'll get a key to these new locks.
Phaedra says it's unclear if she'll even be there when he gets out. Apollo slams her for being disloyal, and she simply says that she's praying for him.
As the cringe-worthy exchange draws to a close, Apollo orders her to do what's right and make sure certain things are available to him when he gets out.
We would not be holding our breath for that if we were Apollo Nida.
