One week after Jill Duggar gave birth to her first child with Derick Dillard, the couple took to her family's official site to share a number of new photos with fans and followers.
Here's Jill with Israel and big sister Jana Duggar (far right) ...
In one image (above), Jill is holding a sleeping Israel Dillard while being visited by friends; in another, sister Joy Anna is keeping watch over her nephew.
And in still another, which may very well break the Internet in half this week, little Israel is wearing sunglasses. Ahhh! We can't handle the cuteness!
"So thankful to God for this handsome little guy," the social media savvy Jill Duggar wrote on Instagram shortly after her baby was born.
She later added that Derick, whom she married last June, is already "doing amazing at being a dad" and that he's a "pro" at burping his son.
Israel weighed in at 9 lbs., 10 oz. on April 6 and measured 23 inches in length, causing Derick and Jill to joke that their baby will make for "a great tight end" some day.
Jill had wanted to give birth at home, but Israel arrived over a week late and complications prompted the blessed event to take place at the hospital.
"I have a really steep learning curve, but I think I'm catching on fast," Derick said shortly after becoming a father, admitting that he's a "little bit exhausted."
