To fans of The Bachelor franchise, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff's breakup is still fresh. Still raw. Still so hard to come to grips with so soon.
But to people who know the couple - like his Bachelor runner-up Becca Tilley - the writing was on the wall for some time, and it wasn't good at all.
Many skeptics called a Chris Soules-Whitney Bischoff breakup for weeks, noting that the fertility nurse seemed to win the final rose by default.
Chris desperately wanted to choose Becca (above, right), and gave her multiple chances to commit to marriage, but she balked and he bailed.
Well, reports that Chris is still in love with Becca Tilley may not be far off base: Tilley reportedly told Bischoff that the two were communicating!
So was Becca the reason that Chris and Whitney broke up?
Becca and Whitney are friends since the show, and they still speak to each other, a fact that Chris failed to consider when he began hollering.
According to Bachelor insiders, Chris started reaching out to Becca after he was engaged to Whitney, and made no secret that he wanted her.
Soon enough, she turned around and ratted him out.
A source dished, "Becca told Whitney that Chris was still talking to her. She exposed him out of spite because he didn't choose her."
"Becca is really bitter," not at Whitney but at Prince Farming himself, "and she wants nothing to with Chris, so she told Whitney the truth."
"He was still trying to talk to her behind Whitney's back."
It was "sisters over misters" for Tilley, in other words.
After Chris and Whitney split, Becca took to Twitter to slam any and all rumors of her getting back together with the man who rejected her.
She left out the part where he pursued this, however.
