Surfer Attacked By Shark on Live TV! Watch Now! Jul 19th 2015, 19:52, by Tyler Johnson Well, Shark Week 2015 has officially come and gone, but if you think the great whites and hammerheads of the world are ready to quietly swim away from the spotlight, think again. Apparently, it's still not safe to go back in the water, as Australian pro surfer Mick Fanning learned the hard way during his most recent competition. If you're the squeamish type, don't worry: Mick somehow survived the attack without injury, and there's nothing too graphic in the video above. However, if you're planning a beach vacation in the next couple weeks, you may want to skip the clip to help preserve your peace of mind. There's still no word on what prompted the attack, but we're guessing the sea beast saw the cameras and decided to advance his species by helping to promote the release of Sharknado 3. Those toothy prima donnas really become addicted to fame lately.
