As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, only three suitors remained for Kaitlyn as we headed into The Bachelorette Season 11 Episode 10.
The spoilers also indicated that two of whom really, really do not like each other. As for Ben ... we forgot he was still on the show to be honest.
It's been shaping up like a two-horse race between Sean Booth and Nick Viall, with the former unable to hold back his rage at the latter.
Would tensions come to a head here in Episode 10?
Even if you haven't seen the video in which Kaitlyn reveals The Bachelorette winner, you could tell heading into last night that Ben had no shot.
Ben personally did not see it this way, though.
"There's no doubt in my mind that I would want to be with Kaitlyn," said Ben Monday. "Kaitlyn makes me happy ... I'm in love with her."
"It's not hard at all to fall in love with Kaitlyn. Everything is just perfect. It's been a long time since somebody has seen me for me."
Aaaaaand he got eliminated at the rose ceremony, as expected. Shawn Booth and Nick Viall both got roses. How did their nights go?
In Shawn's case, a game of golf became strip golf / truth or dare, which actually looked sort of fun until the convo turned to Nick.
Ever insecure and jealous, Shawn said that he questions Nick's intentions, and so on, in a story that was played out weeks ago.
Later, Shawn went to confront Nick for the things he was saying to Kaitlyn behind his back, and even more awkwardness ensued.
Even Kaitlyn started to realize how ridiculous this charade was, and that saying goodbye to Ben "crushed" her in part for this reason.
"I feel the hate between them, and I don't want to be a part of that, but I am right in the middle of it, and that sucks," she said.
"But as hard as everything is, I really believe that I'm in love. That's the only thing that's getting me through all this right now."
Soon it would be off to meet both of their parents - only two hometown dates this year, and not even in their actual hometowns.
Before that, though, Nick confessed, "I don't think it's a big surprise, but I'm totally in love with you ... more than I can say in words."
This guy. Similar to last season with Andi, Nick told his mom that he was "99 percent sure" he would be Bristowe's final rose winner.
He also told his mom that Kaitlyn was "great at making out" ... and cried on camera, overcome with how much he loves Bristowe.
Kind of painful to watch, if we're honest.
Meanwhile, Shawn's dad reacted like any sane person would to this drama, hinting that his son was just "caught up in the moment."
Kaitlyn again reminded us that she has strong feelings, ones "so intense with two people ... and people's families care so much."
"When I think about saying goodbye to one of the two, I don't know how to do it. I don't know what to do, how to do it. I don't know."
Who will it be in two weeks? We shall see, Bachelor Nation. And there will be tears ... and possibly blood, too, with these characters.
