With Nina Dobrev officially off this CW smash hit, sources have confirmed to TV Line that three new characters are on the way. And two of them will be dating! While being the same gender! According to network insiders, we'll meet Nora and Mary Louise on The Vampire Diaries Season 7. These two blood suckers have been dating on the Down Low for over a century, though anyone allowed into their inner circle is well aware of the relationship. Look for Mary Louise to be a bit of a nag and for both new vampires to have quite the temper. TV Line also confirms that a character named Valerie is on the way. Like the aforementioned lesbians, she'll be a 20-something member of the undead who uses a dry sense of humor to deal with a life of pain and dismissal. She may end up as a love interest for Alaric or Matt. TVD returns with new episodes on Thursday, October 8; in the meantime, you can always visit TV Fanatic and watch The Vampire Diaries online.
