Yesterday, we reported that Gwen Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage.
Naturally, there are a lot of questions about what happened between Stefani and Rossdale, as the split seemed to come out of nowhere.
Rumors about Rossdale cheating have been circulating for years, and as the world learned that Stefani was the one to file and she's seeking to deny him spousal support, it was widely assumed that he'd been busted.
Now, Radar Online is reporting that, like so many stars before him, Rossdale was caught sleeping with nanny.
"Gwen is absolutely devastated about the marriage ending, and she has been inconsolable," an insider tells Radar. "But she had no other choice. She was very suspicious that Gavin was involved with the nanny.
"Gavin always denied anything inappropriate but her friends warned her that it seemed like there was something going on.
"She had no choice but to fire the nanny, and she no longer works for them. Gwen's main concern is simply protecting the kids...Gavin was the love of Gwen's life and she gave it everything she could and really did everything possible to save the marriage. Gavin just didn't seem to be putting as much into it as she did."
Wow, between this and the situation in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's home, it sounds like there are lots of openings for nannies in the LA area these days.
Hopefully, Gwen and Jen have learned their lesson and won't be hiring hot twenty-somethings this time.
