Marie Claire Apologizes for "Epic" Kendall Jenner Cornrows Comment Apr 4th 2014, 13:55, by Hilton Hater Marie Claire is sorry for implying that Kendall Jenner more or less discovered the cornrow. Earlier this week, the magazine Tweeted a photo of this reality star wearing her hair in braids, writing as a caption that Kendall was taking the "bold" look to an "epic" level. This comment sparked outrage on Twitter, mostly from African-Americans who pointed out that members of their community have been wearing their hair in this style since... forever. Kendall Jenner Braids Controversy "We didn't mean to offend or imply that cornrows were new. Our tweet was poorly worded," Marie Claire wrote yesterday in response to the controversy." The publication added in its mea culpa: "We thought her hair looked great and recognize women have been styling their hair like this for ages." Jenner, of course, is no stranger to creating a stir via various online photos. This Kendall Jenner underwear pic nearly took down the entire Internet.
