"What's Paulina Gretzky doing on the cover of Golf Digest?" reads the title of the article inside the new issue of Golf Digest with Paulina Gretzky on the cover.
It is a fair question.
Paulina, daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, stuns in just capris and a white sports bra, and really, that's reason enough. But there is a hook:
Author Sam Weinman says that Paulina, who is engaged to Dustin Johnson, one of pro golf's young stars, is still a certified celebrity in the golf world.
She seemed "seemed like a natural cover subject" for the annual second issue devoted to fitness as a result ... okay, still a stretch, but we'll take it!
"Sports figures, celebrities and models have appeared on [our] covers since the magazine's beginning," Golf Digest Editor-in-Chief Jerry Tarde adds.
"Paulina ranks at the high end of the golf celebrity scene today, and she has a compelling story to tell. She also might get some new people interested in the game."
Compelling story? Interest in the game? Maybe a stretch there, fellas, although we still don't blame you, having seen the Paulina Gretzky photos below ...
"The first swing I took in my dad's tournament, I whiffed it in front of 30 people," the 25-year-old blond beauty recalls of her introduction to golf.
"It was probably the best thing that ever happened to me because I'm really competitive like my mom and dad, and it made me want to keep trying."

Clearly it's paying off for her ... and for Dustin Johnson.
