A difficult week for Miley Cyrus has ended on a positive note.
Days after Tweeting that her beloved dog Floyd has died, the singer showed off a new canine to the world today via Instagram, posting the photo of a pooch named Moonie.
He was a gift.
"my mama knew my heart was broken & this morning I woke up to Moonie kisses," Cyrus wrote as a caption to the photo above (left), adding:
"No one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lendin me some fur to cry on along with my other babies."
Miley broke down in concert this week while dedicating a song to her late pet and wrote at the time of him passing away:
"I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him… this is unbearable."
We later learned that Miley's dog was killed by a coyote.
Of course, if there's one thing Cyrus likes more than her dogs, it's her marijuana. Today, she got to enjoy both.
"Can't wait to introduce Bean and Happy to Moonie Currently soakin up some Moonie & Mary Jane…. so many emotions I am exhausted."
