Following a couple days of anger and bitterness, One Direction fans took to Twitter last night in order to express a very different react:
Relief.
Because is Zayn Malik is okay, folks. He reunited with his cute colleagues on stage Tuesday for a special performance in Orlando.
Dressed in a black T-shirt with a matching jacket/pants, Malik made fans freak out (in a good way) while performing tracks in support of the new One Direction album, "Four."
The concert took place about 36 hours after Malik missed an interview on The Today Show because of what Liam Payne described as a "stomach bug."
But Matt Lauer pressed the issue for some reason and followed up by asking if Malik has a substance abuse problem.
Fans booed the Today anchor on the spot and Malik later told The Daily Mail that Lauer's question made him angry and upset.
But that's the opposite of how One Direction fans responded to the full group's Florida performance on Tuesday night, as they started the hashtag "#ZaynIsBack" and flooded Twitter with messages such as:
- YALL SEE HOW IMPORTANT THIS BOY IS AND HOW MUCH SADNESS HIS ABSENCE AND HOW MUCH JOY HIS PRESENCE BRING? #ZaynIsBack
