Taylor Swift has always been on the thin side, but some folks - many of them fans of Swifty's - have observed that she's been looking a bit more gaunt than usual lately.
Taylor's new album, 1989, is the biggest seller of the year, thanks in no small part to her tireless promotional efforts, so there's been speculation that Taylor may have simply lost a few pounds as a result of stress and her hectic schedule.
Of course, wherever there's a skinny celeb, rumors of an eating disorder are sure to follow, so it was only a matter of time before an "OMG Starving Swifty!!!" headline hit newsstands. Take it away, Star magazine:
"Taylor has always had the appetite of a sparrow, but ever since she moved to New York, she's become fixated on her body image," says one "source." "She used to be a size zero, but she's dropped down to sub-zero."
The insider adds that Taylor's friendships with Karlie Kloss and other runway models has been detrimental, as she sees her new waif-like BFFs as the ultimate standard of beauty.
Taylor looked better than ever as she stepped out in Manhattan today. NYC seems to agree with her!
"She lives on coffee and salads," says the source. "Taylor's terrified of looking fat in a picture, so her way of dealing with that is to be underweight. She's always talking about baking and stocking her pantry with fresh muffins, but she never eats a bite of it."
Tay-Tay doesn't eat her own cookies?! We don't what to believe in anymore.
Of course, the most hard-to-swallow part of this report involves Taylor hosting parties at her house that rage on until the wee hours:
"Taylor has turned into the ultimate party girl. She regularly hosts wine nights at her house where she and her girlfriends will stay up until 6 am drinking and gossiping."
Wow. Taylor has morphed into Snooki circa 2010! So that's why the crochet needle industry is suffering and ratings for Law & Order reruns have plummeted!
