And as we count down to the February 22 ceremony (to air live on ABC and to be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris), THG is giving readers a chance to voice their opinions. First, we asked for your take on Best Supporting Actress. Now, it's time to take a look at the male side of things. 2015 Oscars: Best Supporting Actor Nominees 1. Edward Norton (Birdman) Edward Norton shined as a slightly unstable actor in Birdman. Okay, a very unstable actor in Birdman. Which of the five talented men above deserve to take home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor? Should it be Robert Duval for The Judge, as he's now the older actor to ever receive an Oscar nomination? What about Edward Norton for playing an actor off his rocker in Birdman? Or Mark Ruffalo for taking on a real-life wrestler? Let's not forget about Ethan Hawke, who took 12 years out of his life to film Boyhood; or J.K.
