Katy Perry is ahead of the curve on this one, already stealing Lynch's irritated response to hilarious effect:
Yes, amidst all of the drama surrounding DeflateGate and Beast-Mode-Is-Kind-of-a-Dick-Gate, we almost forgot that Perry is performing at halftime.
Katy's been tight-lipped about what sort of surprises she'll feature during that time when half the country goes on a beer run and the other half switches to the Puppy Bowl, but certain secrets have already been confirmed.
For example, we already know that Katy will wear something ridiculous, not unlike the football inspired dress she rocked at the press conference.
We also know she'll be joined on stage by some epic surprise guests:
During her press conference Katy confirmed that she'll be joined by an "old school" female artist, and that "when you hear the ring of the first chord...jaws will drop and faces will melt."
Several media outlets have confirmed that the "old school artist" in question is none other than hip hop icon Missy Elliott.
Lenny Kravitz is also rumored to be making an appearance, but we think he may have just gotten upstaged.
You may want to skip the adorable puppies this year, if only so that you can find out live if Elliott is still capable of putting her thang down, flipping it and reversing it.
