Model, reality star and Brazilian Miss Bum Bum runner-up Andressa Urach is speaking out after a botched plastic surgery procedure left her with a rotting leg.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Once nicknamed "Beanpole" for her utter lack of curves, the single mom became a reality TV bombshell in Brazil with the help of plastic surgery.
Breast implants, anabolic steroids, a nose job, and gel and botox injections ... you name it, she got it, and the celebrity gossip fame that came with it.
The 27-year-old, who claimed to have bedded Cristiano Ronaldo before he broke up with Irina Shayk, was an outspoken advocate of plastic surgery.
"There are plenty of ugly women," she said. "If you have the money, you can be beautiful ... this pretty face you see here, my dear, it costs some."
It cost her something, alright.
Last November, Andressa Urach went into shock and was placed on life support after a botched operation to pump up her posterior even more.
Urach was given a 200 times higher dose of the silicone gel Hydrogel than the government allows, and nearly died. She said in an interview.
"The hydrogel was not absorbed by my body and started to harm me. I've discovered that the PMMA is sticking to my muscles and causing the tissue to rot."
She was in intensive care for a month, with concerns that her rotting leg would have to be amputated. Understandably, this changed her outlook.
"I put that poison in my body, mostly because of having too much vanity," she said after her release, and began advocating against plastic surgery.

In the interview, Andressa Urach said she blames "society, which unfortunately holds a standard of beauty in which you have to be perfect."
Of her wounded leg, which was still seeping blood through her skirt, she said: "I hope that these wounds at least serve as a warning to other women."
With about 1.5 million procedures performed in that nation each year, Brazil has the highest rate of cosmetic surgery of any country in the world.
About a fifth of the world's buttock augmentations are also performed there. The other four fifths are done on Khloe and Kim Kardashian. Just kidding.
In all serious, Urach hopes to make herself a walking cautionary tale. She won't have any more operations, even to fix the scars she is left with.
"I'll leave them there, as they are. I fear surgery," she said. "I thought about a tattoo to hide them, but ... [the scars] are the marks of my victory."
