Production sources say there has been absolutely no move to slow down the shooting, editing or airing of the special, which could air as early as May.
Given how long awaited this Bruce Jenner sex change has been for him, it's not surprising that he has given no indication of any second thoughts.
The docuseries is being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, which also produces Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its associated spinoffs.
While photos of Bruce transitioning into a woman and celebrity gossip speculation are not new, he shocked a lot of people by confirming his life change.
He's still playing it close to the vest for now - likely because of the show - but for all intents and purposes, his rumored journey is no longer rumored.
It is real and it is striking. Bruce has been criticized by some for holding off on coming out until his show is finished, but says this is not a cash grab.
As for the fatal car accident, the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. is investigating, although Bruce has not been cited or charged and is unlikely to be.
Officials think Bruce was following a Lexus too closely when he hit it, sending it into oncoming traffic. The driver was killed after colliding with a Hummer.
However, a Prius stopping suddenly in front of the Lexus could also be to blame, and contrary to previous reports, Jenner was not texting and driving.
