The estranged boyfriend will sit across from the psychologist in order to discuss various details surrounding his controversial relationship with Bobbi Kristina Brown, whose life remains in peril.
Why has he been barred by Bobbi's family members from seeing Brown in the hospital? What does he know about all the hard drug chatter surrounding Bobbi Kristina?
Joining Gordon for the nationally-televised interview will be his mother, Michelle, as she and Dr. Phil conduct an "emotionally charged intervention," according to promos.
A press release also describes Gordon as "distraught and out of control," while noting that Gordon has been battling drug and alcohol addiction himself.
"As we sit here right now, my son's life hangs in the balance," Michelle tells Dr. Phil in a snippet from the Q&A. "He won't let go of the guilt."
Even if we choose to believe Gordon... even if we decide not to be cynical and to allow that he may very well be going through a very tough time... that does not forgive his decision to go public with his issues on national television.
That is a purely exploitive, attention-grabbing move no matter how one tries to defend it.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life at Emory University Hospital.
Doctors attempted to rouse Bobbi from her coma late last month, only for the 22-year old to suffer a seizure and end up having a horrible setback.
Someone really needs to tell Nick Gordon that this is about Bobbi Kristina Brown. It's not about him.
Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon were married, but reportedly estranged at the time of her tragic hospitalization. We hope she is able to beat the odds and recover.
