It's been five days since Zayn Malik quit One Direction, and the singer's reasons for breaking up the world's biggest boy band still aren't 100% clear.
Zayn offered his own explanation in a recent interview but many fans believe he's not telling the whole story.
While there have been rumblings about drug use and feuds amongst bandmates, most of the theories surrounding the "real reason" that Zayn quit have to do with his relationship with Perrie Edwards.
Of course, one fan's claim that she hooked up with Zayn is hardly conclusive evidence, but now a second woman has given an interview to UK tabloid The Sun, in which she claims that Malik picked her up in the same Thai nightclub where he met Mistress Number One.
"He didn't mention anything to me about having a fiancee," claims 17-year-old Swedish model Martina Olsson. "He was really flirtatious."
So flirtatious, in fact, that Martina claims she wound up back at Zayn's hotel room where he invited her to shower with him.
"Straight away when we were in the bathroom, he started kissing me," Olsson says. "He picked me up and said, 'I want you now,' and carried me to the bed."
You can use your imagination as to what happened from there, but when a famous young heartthrob picks you up and carries you to his bed, the evening can only go in...one direction. (Sorry.)
Someone's always gonna leave the band. Particularly in a boy band, you get that whole, 'I'm Spartacus. I can have the best solo career.' Actually, everybody always said it would be Harry that would have left. The last two years I've been hearing, 'Harry's gonna leave.' Zayn pipped him to the post.
That's an unusual world to grow up in, I would think. But at the end of the day, if you've got the goods like Justin Timberlake, you can go the distance.
I get it. Everybody's different and that's what you have to understand. I know a lot of people from the outside are looking and going, 'Why leave right now?' But we don't know what it is to walk in his shoes. Things comes to an end sometimes. From what I hear, they're going to keep on getting the great music and we'll see how it goes.
I woke up to a real spike in [my] awareness…this whole hashtag 'always in our hearts Zayn'…I had no idea all my fans were hysterical teenage girls. I don't want to be nitpicky, but just for the sake of record, it's Z-A-N-E, not Z-A-Y-N.
