CBS came out yesterday with its complete season finale air date calendar, announcing the return of one freshman drama (Stalker, which will resume on May 4 at 9/8c) and super-sizing the concluding spring episode of another.

It still makes us angry to think about. We finally met the mother. We fell in love with the mother. And then the show killed off the mother, broke up Barney and Robin and stuck Ted with Robin, all in a matter of a few closing (AWFUL!) minutes.
It was boring AND predictable. There was no reason for FX to air what amounted to a full-length movie, just to have Jax do what we could all see coming weeks before the finale aired.
Wait... what was the side world again?!? The only thing we know for sure about how Lost ended is that the writers had no plan for it until the last second.
So much for the notion of loving whomever you want to love: Bill killed himself and Sookie ended up with some random human. A series that celebrated the differences in people went out as a total and complete hypocrite.
