Not even two months old, royal baby Princess Charlotte is to be christened, just as her older brother once was. And the big day is coming up soon!
The adorable little newborn is to be christened Sunday, July 5, at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Kensington Palace has revealed.
Kate Middleton's baby will christened by the head of the Church of England, The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.
Prince William and Kate's two children, Prince George, 22 months, and Charlotte, have been enjoying time out of the spotlight since May 2.
Spending as much time as they can at their new family home, Amner Hall, they have been content to keep to themselves following her birth.
“Going back to Anmer was the moment they felt they could really breathe after the frenzy at the hospital and Kensington Palace," a source said.
"Anmer is their safe haven. They love the house so much."
"Kensington Palace will always be their main base, especially in the future and when the kids start schools, but right now Anmer suits their needs."
"It’s private, away from prying eyes and their dream home."
We also hear that Kate Middleton also likes having no royal family members around besides her husband, but that's neither here nor there.
Unlike his little sister, Prince George was baptized in the center of London, in the small and intimate Chapel Royal at St James' Palace.
Prince George's christening was a private affair with senior royals, four Middleton family members, seven godparents and their spouses.
It's unclear who will be on hand for Princess Charlotte's.
