Olympic swimming champion and certified hunk Ryan Lochte doesn't have time for relationships, just one-night stands ... according to his mom.
In an interview with Today, Ike Lochte explained why her son is too busy to commit to women, and the answer is simple: It's all about swimming.
"He goes out on one-night stands," she said of her 27-year-old son. "He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go."
At Procter and Gamble's "Thank You Mom" family home in London five days earlier, Ike further explained why Ryan Lochte isn't ready to date seriously.
"He's so warmhearted that I don't think he'd want to have a relationship with somebody," she said. "I don't think he wants to get into a relationship."
"It just wouldn't be fair to the girl," she said. "He doesn't have time."
Single or otherwise, mom couldn't be prouder of the nine-time Olympic medalist, who has been linked (falsely) to K. Michelle and Blair Evans of late.
"Everything he has done has been to the max ... he's unique, loving, and he challenges himself all the time."
